Kevin D. Padrick
Kevin is the Chairman and co-founder of Symmetrical Networks. Mr. Padrick has over 35 years of experience in alternative finance and structuring complex financial transactions, including advising a major Wall Street investment bank, private equity funds, and hedge funds. Asset management and sale advice has also been provided by Mr. Padrick to owners of structured finance assets, real property, equipment, and venture capital investments. Financing projects have ranged in size exceeding $1 billion.
Mr. Padrick started his career as an attorney with Miller Nash LLP where he chaired the insolvency department and represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and creditors committees, and was lead outside counsel for U.S. Bancorp in reorganization matters nationally and internationally.
Mr. Padrick holds an M.B.A., a J.D., and a B.S. in both mathematics and psychology, all awarded with honors, from the University of Santa Clara. Mr. Padrick is an avid pilot, with airline transport and instructor ratings in fixed wing aircraft, gliders, and helicopters.
Dann G. Wheeler
Dann is the President and co-founder of Symmetrical Networks. Mr. Wheeler has spent the last 10 years in the financial services industry where he has been responsible for financial analysis and due diligence related to debt and equity transactions in various industries, including technology, consumer products, aviation and forest products.
Mr. Wheeler was also a manager with KPMG, where he spent several years with the Assurance group where he focused on technology clients and also spent two years in the Transaction Services group of KPMG in Zurich, Switzerland. During this time, he worked on various U.S. GAAP conversions and due diligence projects, including the sale of a subsidiary of a major Swiss airline.
Mr. Wheeler is a certified public accountant and graduated with a M.B.A. and B.A. in accounting with
honors from Westminster College and a B.A. in political science from the University of Utah.
Richard (Dick) Luebke
Dick is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Symmetrical Networks. As an angel investor, Dick has invested in startups in Portland and Austin and had successful exits to Microsoft and Symantec. One of Dick’s angel investments is Eleven Wireless in Portland, which manages guest Internet access for over 1,600 hotels including Hyatt, Marriott, Starwood and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
Mr. Luebke is a member of the Hospitality Technology Next Generation group and its Fiber to the Room(FTTR) working group. He is also a member of FTTH Council, has completed Certified Fiber to the Home Professional training, and is a member of the Calix consulting engineering group. Previously, he was a member of Intel’s 8086 software engineering team, and worked on software projects for Tandem Computers (now HP), Apple and Oracle.
Mr. Luebke has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, and an M.S. in Engineering from
Arizona State University.
